Mr. Yost's practice focuses on estate and trust litigation, where he has successfully represented beneficiaries and fiduciaries in complex and high-stakes probate and trust litigation throughout the state of Texas.  Mr. Yost regularly represents clients in will contests, trust contests and in matters involving alleged breaches of fiduciary duty.  Mr. Yost is board certified in Probate Law and Estate Planning by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization, which demonstrates his substantive knowledge and expertise in the practice area he litigates.  Mr. Yost has been selected by Thomson Reuters as a "Texas Super Lawyers - Rising Star" and as a "Texas Super Lawyer" for Estate and Trust Litigation.  Mr. Yost has also been named as one of San Antonio's "Best Lawyers" by Scene in SA. 


In addition to his litigation practice, Mr. Yost also represents executors, administrators and trustees throughout the probate and trust administration process in uncontested matters.


Mr. Yost’s practice also focuses in the area of wills, trusts and estates where he helps clients implement estate plans, asset protection plans, and business succession plans. Many of Mr. Yost’s clients are business owners and property owners who appreciate his ability to provide creative solutions to the many challenges they may face.
